Measure It!

The App

The aim of Measure It! project is to give everyone a reliable tool to make measurements around us, without any necessity of specific equipment or tool.

The solution requires only our mobile phone.

Althought there are some solutions wich use more sophisticated way of doing it, a more mathematical approach is explored here.

Please, note that:

• The application is available for Android devices.
• The owner certifies that the product requires, only, the access to the camera and movement sensors, and does not contain malicious code.
• For security, your mobile phone is configured to block the installation of applications that do not come from Play Store.
  To allow Measure It! installation go to:
  Settings → Security → Unknown sources (allow).

The author

The app Measure It! is the result of a TdR (Treball de Recerca), a project in which students get the opportunity to reasearch in a specific field they like.

This project was developed along 2018 and 2019 by the student Albert Canales Ros under the supervision of Jordi Sorolla in Institut Màrius Torres in Lleida.
